Ottawa Miniature Gallery
EventThe CPG is thrilled to welcome something big to its space: The Ottawa Miniature Gallery. Explore a curated selection of miniature artwork displayed in a tiny gallery from Saturday, March 15 to Friday, May 15. The mini gallery stands more than 180 centimetres tall with three stackable floors. It has interior lighting, hardwood floors, 12 showrooms and a sticker graffiti wall in an effort to mimic a miniature gallery space.
Inside, the exhibit features approximately 30 artists across Ontario with two to three art pieces per room, depending on the art, and how it is curated.
Founded in 2022 by glass artist, Jennifer Kelly, the miniature gallery is now curated by Kiana Simmons.
Kiana Simmons is a miniaturist and farmer based in Ottawa, ON. Their love of growing & eating vegetables translated into their first miniature vegetable creations during summer of 2020. Through their business, Miniature Veg, they have hosted over 80 travelling polymer clay miniature food workshops since February 2024 across Canada and abroad.
