The Blossom Shop

Blooming Moments, Beautifully Delivered.

Serving Carleton Place Since 1980

The Blossom Shop has been a proud part of Carleton Place’s downtown since 1980, delighting the community with fresh flowers, heartfelt service, and creative floral design. Founded by Yvonne Kilpatrick, who emigrated from England in 1967, the shop began as a leap of faith inspired by her husband’s experience in the wholesale floral industry. What started as a new adventure quickly bloomed into a beloved local business.

Yvonne’s dedication to her craft led her to Guelph University in 1981, where she graduated top of her class in floral design—not once, but twice. While she was invited to return for a second year on scholarship, Yvonne chose instead to grow her business, and The Blossom Shop continued to thrive.

Over the past four decades, the shop has become a local landmark, having operated from three downtown locations before settling into its current home over 27 years ago. Through every bouquet and every bloom, The Blossom Shop remains committed to offering exceptional service and top-quality flowers for all of life’s moments.

Let The Blossom Shop be your first choice for flowers.
