Young at Art

This August, as part of our August of the Arts celebrations, we are inviting young artists to share their creativity with the community through Young at Art, a public youth art exhibition. Artwork created by local youth will be displayed throughout Downtown Carleton Place in storefront windows, garden beds, and public spaces, transforming the downtown into an open-air gallery. This exhibition celebrates the imagination, talent, and unique perspectives of young people while encouraging residents and visitors to experience the arts in unexpected places. We welcome submissions in a variety of mediums and styles. Whether you’re an emerging artist or simply enjoy creating, we encourage you to participate and help showcase the incredible creativity of our community’s youth. Join us in making downtown a vibrant celebration of art, imagination, and self-expression this August.
