Applications now being accepted for Lanark County’s Sip and Savour Trail

More than 20 businesses registered during first intake. The Lanark County Tourism Association (LCTA) is pleased to announce that the first intake of applications for the Sip and Savour Trail saw more than 20 new businesses apply to be part of the trail. Applications will continue to be accepted on an ongoing basis until March 31; the trail is expected to be ready for rollout for spring 2019. As Lanark County’s first food and drink trail, the Sip and Savour Trail will feature the stories of the unique tastes and flavours of Lanark County, and the people behind those experiences.

We are very excited to share the news regarding our NEW holiday lighting. Downtown Carleton Place will be dazzling this holiday season, with 17,000+ wonderful warm white Christmas lights, that will light up the winter night sky. During our holiday lighting season (November 14th, 2018 to February 1st, 2019), select trees and lamp posts will be decorated with garland, red bows, berries and Christmas lights. Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

Final plans are now in place surrounding the annual November 11th Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony in Carleton Place.
