Dr. Madigan-Swant received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1991, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List. She was also the recipient of the Bausch & Lomb Scholorship Award, recognizing achievements in the area of contact lenses, she was also a member of Beta, Signa, Kappa an International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Dr. Madigan-Swant entered private practice in July 1991 with Dr. Ian Edmison and became an owner/partner in Heritage Optemetric Clinic in 1994.
Dr. Madigan-Swant is an active member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Optometrists, and The Ottawa Society of Optometrists.
