John Rayner is a Carleton Place photographer that has been living here since the fall of 2005, with his wife Susanne after moving from Sarnia where he taught high school for 30 years. He chose to move here because this is where his daughter, Shauna Vaillancourt, had settled a year or two earlier. She works at a retirement residence in Bells Corners. The 2017 – 2018 Application for Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) funding is now available through Valley Heartland CFDC. Funding Overview EODP supports the growth of local businesses, community-led economic development to enhance and diversify our local economy and the creation of new sustainable jobs in Lanark and North Leeds. EODP provides non-repayable funding of up to 50% of eligible costs for approved projects demonstrating measurable economic outcomes such as job creation, increased productivity, creation of new products and entering new markets.
