We are very excited to share the news regarding our NEW holiday lighting. Downtown Carleton Place will be dazzling this holiday season, with 17,000+ wonderful warm white Christmas lights, that will light up the winter night sky. During our holiday lighting season (November 14th, 2018 to February 1st, 2019), select trees and lamp posts will be decorated with garland, red bows, berries and Christmas lights. Beautiful holiday baskets, full of winter greenery will be placed on the Town’s central bridge and select Bridge Street lamp posts. Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

Final plans are now in place surrounding the annual November 11th Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony in Carleton Place. With just over three weeks prior to this annual event, the organizing committee, spearheaded by members of the local Legion Branch #192, met on October 17th to finalize their plans to mark the 100th Anniversary of Armistice that will take place on November 11ththis year.
